In the beginning the camera makes a circular movement which shows the whole of the ship. This is done to show the fairy lights that are hanging around the boat which end up being the main murder weapon. The same shots are also taken at the beginning of the scene and at the end to show the juxtaposition between the cleanness and then the death. When the mass murder occurs you are first shown the flowers cut which symbolizes innocence killed.
